Starting tomorrow, the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) will be receiving applications from new students for its 161 full-time courses beginning in October.
The College’s 10 institutes and the Gozo Centre will be receiving applications between 8.30am and 12.30pm as follows: Monday, 23 July for applicants with surnames beginning with A or B; Tuesday, 24 July for applicants with surnames beginning with C to F; Wednesday, 25 July for applicants with surnames beginning with G to P, and Thursday, 26 July for applicants with surnames beginning with Q to Z. Applicants who cannot submit their application on the specific dates may do so on Friday, 27 July, between 8.30am and 12.30pm.
Prospective students are to submit their application at the respective Institute for whose courses they are applying. MCAST’s Institute of Applied Science, Institute of Business and Commerce, Institute of Community Services, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Institute of Information and Communication Technology and the Institute of Mechanical Engineering are located at MCAST’s main campus in Paola. The Agribusiness Institute is located in Qormi, the Institute of Art and Design is located in Targa Gap, Mosta, the Institute of Building and Construction Engineering is in Naxxar, and the Maritime Institute is in Kalkara. Students applying for the Pathway to Independent Living Programme are to present their application at the Student House, MCAST main campus in Paola. Gozo Centre applications will be received at the College’s Centre in Xagħra. Applicants who reside in Gozo and wish to apply for a course in one of Malta’s institutes can also present their application at the Xagħra Centre.
MCAST’s career advisors at the MCAST main campus in Paola will be available to assist prospective applicants without the need for an appointment during the application dates, between 8.30am and 4pm. The College’s Inclusive Education Unit is also meeting prospective students with disabilities or learning difficulties to discuss their requirements.
