As part of its human resources programme, the Atlas Insurance and Investments Group recently held an Atlas Day, a full day of staff training and development. The day focused on skills development, which was presented to staff through a series of exercises, by focusing on the benefits of strengthening skills which lead to enhanced team work and job satisfaction.

Atlas Day was the culmination of the ongoing efforts of Atlas Group’s HR Department, which organised a number of specialised working groups dedicated to discussing how best to enhance these business skills. A cross-section of the organisation’s staff was involved in these working groups, in order to gather their feedback on how Atlas Group’s internal processes and customer service could be enhanced in the light of these issues.

Following the event, Atlas Group CEO Michael Gatt commented that “at Atlas Group, we believe in placing our staff and their development at the heart of the organisation. Forming part of the services sector, this makes the ongoing development of our staff skills even more essential. These events continue to enhance our client service, which is one of our core values.”

The seminar was followed by the Atlas Group’s annual summer barbecue, where staff members were given the opportunity to enjoy the summer afternoon and evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
