Following a hiatus Ira Losco hit the airwaves with her brand new single What I’d Give, which was released on all leading radio stations last July topping the radio charts and enjoying extensive radio play.
This is her first hot single off her much anticipated album due to be released at the end of this year. The singer/songwriter has explored another style of music with this fresh new track which has the sound of summer written all over it with its reggae pop feel.
Ira Losco visited Italy last month promoting her single in the north of Italy performing in front of an audience of 30,000 people in Venice. In the meantime What I’d Give is still being played on prominent stations in the north of Italy.
A video accompanying the song premiered on 8 August at Couvre Porte on Manoel Island in conjunction with the Guess 30th year anniversary. Take 2, who were responsible for the concept and direction of the video, featured Ira Losco in different guises also showing off her acting talent.
“I enjoyed playing a variety of roles, which were really tongue in cheek. In the past I saw myself portray a more serious tone, this time I wanted the fun element to be very evident,” she comments.
The video has been very well received by Ira Losco’s fans, who were eagerly waiting for her next single and the release of the new album.
The track What I’d Give has been released digitally worldwide through iTunes and several Digital portals. “This year was a busy year for us where we consolidated agreements with our international partners through publishing, licensors, distributors and promoters. Every step we’ve taken has been part of our plan after several discussions with our team,” said Howard Keith from Jagged House management. Jagged House also said that there is an interesting release from Ira Losco at the end of this month.
