Applications For Monte Carlo Circus drawing competition

Malta Independent Wednesday, 12 September 2012, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Malta, as already announced, has been selected as one of the six countries from where children will be selected and invited as guests of HRH the Princess of Monaco for the 37th edition of the famous Monte Carlo International Circus.

It is the wish of the organisers that the child is selected through a public drawing competition. This competition is open to eight to 10-year-old children from Gozo and Malta.

The subject of the drawing should be ‘The Circus’. Creativity rather than the technique and the quality of the design of the drawing will be the element that will determine the winner, which will be selected by the organisers themselves in Monaco.

The winning child will be invited together with his parents or guardian to assist to the next edition of the Monte Carlo Circus. All transportation and lodging expenses will be paid by the organisers.

The details of the participating child including, the name and surname, age, the name of the school of the child, the date of birth, the contact details of the child (address, telephone and if available email address) should be written on the back of the drawing.

The deadline for submissions of drawings has been extended to Friday, 28 September 2012. Children wanting to participate are to submit their drawings to:
