The popular fine dining restaurant Grill3301, at the Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay, has launched an exciting cooking competition on its Facebook page.

Grill 3301, the award-winning restaurant within the Corinthia Beach Resort in St Julians, is well known to food and wine connoisseurs locally, leading in food excellence. It was therefore considered fitting that a competition for this outlet should encourage the development of the culinary art.

Grill3301 is launching a cook-off competition on its facebook page: fb.com/Grill3301 that should offer an exciting challenge to all food lovers and aspiring ‘home’ chefs.

The challenge is a simple one: participants are requested to prepare a Mediterranean dish, plate it nicely and send a photo of their creation to [email protected]. All entries must be received by the 25th November 2012 and multiple entries from the same participant can also be sent.

The Grill3301 Judging Panel will then select the best four dishes, based on the recipe, originality and photo.

These four finalists will then compete in a live cook-off event in the Grill3301 kitchen.

Apart from the prestige of winning such a competition, the winners will also be awarded with the following attractive prizes: the first prize will be a weekend break at the Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay; the four finalists will each win a dinner for two at the Grill3301; and winner of the Best Photo will enjoy New Year’s Eve celebrations with a dinner for two at the Grill3301.
