The Salesians of Don Bosco are selling a limited edition etching of l-Ghajn il-Kbira - Fontana, Gozo - by Gozitan artist Justin Falzon, with proceeds going to St Patrick’s Salesian School in Sliema.

Justin Falzon is a Gozitan artist who studied Fine Arts at the Lorenzo De Medici Art Institute in Florence. During the four year course at the Institute, the focus of Justin’s studies was on drawing, painting and printmaking. His inspiration came primarily from the human figure. Nonetheless, his art has now acquired, an even more personal creative style and expression that is entirely unique to the artist.

His solo exhibitions include Insight, Kenuna Tower, Gozo (2001), In Search of the Soul, Hilton Hotel, Malta (2006), Still Life, Calypso Hotel, Gozo (2006) and Justetchings, Art…e Gallery, Victoria, Gozo (2011). In 2008, Justin participated in a collective exhibition in collaboration with Centro per l’ Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci Prato, in Prato Italy. During the same year Justin participated in a group exhibition Art Clash, at the California State University in Florence for which three of his paintings were chosen by the Museum of Contemporary Art, in Florina, Greece.

Justin is currently a practicing artist and teaches at the Gozo School of Art.
