Finance ministers gathering in Brussels Monday have another important item on their agenda on top of the usual run-down of problems facing the region.

As well as tackling high unemployment, Cyprus's bailout negotiations and the threat of a currency war hitting the euro, there is also the matter of a farewell dinner for Jean-Claude Juncker, who is stepping down from the Eurogroup — the body made up of finance ministers from the 17 European Union countries that use the euro.

The Eurogroup became increasingly important during the eurozone's debt crisis and all-night meetings to try and find a solution to the region's problems were common.

Juncker's successor, the Netherlands' Jeroen Dijsselbloem, says this month's agenda is "not very complex or complicated" and that ministers were looking forward to the dinner.
