Xzibit, a young enterprise company from De La Salle College will be representing Malta in London in July after winning this year’s national competition.

The team of eight youngsters won the HSBC Company of the year award, as well as the V squared best presentation and the Microsoft social enterprise of the year awards.

The HSBC Company programme is organised on an annual basis by Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Malta, an NGO promoting entrepreneurship education, skills for employability and financial literacy

“Our website was set up with the scope of giving artists a platform through which they can display their wares. Through this website, www.xzibitmalta.com, we allow photographers, artists and musicians to sign up and exhibit and/or sell their work,” a company spokesperson said.

Several events to increase exposure are also organised such as their two showcases held at Tigne’ Point in the past few months.

Their next event is a showcase open to the public at the Scout Association of Malta, Floriana Headquarters on:

· Saturday 18 May 2013 between 10:00 am and 16:00 pm

· Sunday 19 May 2013 between 10:00 am and 14:00 pm
