Joseph Agius, 42, of Birkirkara was charged with harassing and threatening Economic Affairs Minister Chris Cardona in the past three months.
Agius pleaded guilty to threatening to kill the minister via the phone and via the internet, threatening four policemen yesterday at Naxxar police station and breaking the peace.
Agius was arraigned under arrest and remanded in custody.
