A girl who had been reported missing earlier today was found dead this afternoon at Dingli.

Lisa Maria Zahra, 15, was reported missing together with a 23-year-old man, Erin Tanti. The last time Zahra was seen was yesterday (Tuesday).

Lisa Maria was the daughter of former MHRA president Tony Zahra. Winston Zahra, a cousin to Lisa Marie, wrote on Facebook to thank all those who are expressing solidarity with the family at this difficult time.

Lisa Marie and Erin Tanti were found at the bottom of Dingli cliffs after a fall. They were lifted from beneath the cliffs by an AFM helicopter.

The police said in a statement later that the two were found this afternoon at 4.30pm. The girl was certified dead while the man was taken to hospital for treatment.

His condition was not made known.
