Parliamentary Secretary Stefan Buontempo today launched a series of initiatives themed ‘Additional services for our communities’.

One of the initiatives will see local councils who offer the service of influenza jabs receiving financial assistance.

The funds will cover the service of nurses and promotional material tied to the service.

Dr Buontempo said that such funds will help councils reach out to the community better.

He also referred to the services being given by doctors and therapists at local councils.

Gluten-free vouchers to be distributed by councils

Dr Buontempo said that vouchers would also be distributed by councils to those residents who are constrained to using gluten-free products.
