Magistrate Carol Peralta today went against the Attorney General's recommendations and has allowed Leisure Clothing Managing Director Bin Han to fly to Italy for a business meeting.

This was the third request by the Leisure Clothing Director to go on the trip. The Magistrate questioned why the AG continued to halt the Managing Director of one of the main manufacturing companies in Malta from taking part in a business trip.

Permission was granted on condition that he be limited to his voyage to Italy and that he deposits his passport back in Malta once he returned.

The company director is charged with human trafficking, misappropriation and other related charges.
