Malta is currently hosting the 17th meeting of the Heads of Medicines Agencies Working Group of Enforcement Officers, bringing together some eighty enforcement officers from different countries.
In her opening address, Minister for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and Civil Liberties Helena Dalli remarked how this meeting is giving Malta an opportunity to promote collaboration within the EU network of medicines agencies.
Dr Dalli explained how the government’s vision for regulators is that they take a consumer-centred approach, create an environment which fosters innovation and competition, and work in a sustainable manner. This can be achieved when stakeholders work together with common goals, communicate in a transparent manner and have the required capacity.
“Malta is fully committed to the EU medicines regulatory network” emphasised Minister Dalli.
