The PN said that it fully supports the concerns made by the Chamber of Commerce that a PL government has a lack of fiscal morality.

PN deputy leader Mario de Marco said in a statement that week after week, new scandals emerge involving the PL in government. Dr de Marco said that the government has transferred its land and given significant amounts of money to individuals who the government feels it is indebted to, such as in the Cafe Premier, Australia Hall and a property in Mint Street cases.

This, he continued, is resulting in a great expense which is being sustained by the taxpayer and the Prime Minister is trying to make up for these scandalous pay-outs by trying to sell land in an Outside Development Zone, referring to the proposed new University Zonqor site.
