A Mosta motorcyclist, 45, was seriously injured when the bike he was riding hit a roundabout and skidded. The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was found to be in critican condition.
The accident happened in St Andrew’s Road in St Julian’s. A 36-year-old woman, born in Sarajevo but resident in St Julian’s, was riding pillion. She was reported to have suffered minor injuries.
Magistrate N Galea Sciberras is conducting an inquiry.
