Between January 2014 and the end of April 2015, there were 55 approved projects which cosntituted Direct Foreign Investment to the tune of €107 million, said Economy Minister Chris Cardona today.
Answering a parliamentary question put by opposition MP Frederick Azzopardi, he said that in 2014, 41 projects were approced in Malta for a total of €87.8m and 2 projects in Gozo worth €0.59m.
In 2015, up to the period of April, 12 projects in Malta worth €18.9m were approved. None were approved in Gozo, he said, but this did not include The Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
