165 people have been employed at the Water Services since March 2013, Parliamentary Secretary Chris Fearne said this evening.
He was replying to a question put forward by Nationalist MP Jason Azzopardi.
The roles included a chief executive, engineers, drivers, technicians, business analysts and child carers. Dr Fearne also mentioned an ‘Architect Pipe Layering’ as one of the roles, to which Nationalist MP Censu Galea questioned whether this is a new specialistion.
Dr Fearne said that Mr Galea being an architect, he can answer to his own question.
Dr Busuttil questioned whether a public call for posts was published, however Dr Fearne said he can’t answer.
