In 2013, curiously, 2,044 patients from Malta were given medical tests in Gozo, Health Minister Konrad Mizzi stated tonight.
Answering a question put by opposition MP Claudette Buttigieg, Dr Mizzi said that the 2,000-odd tests included CT Scans, Virtual Colonoscopy, Cardiac CT Angiograms/CT Calcium Scoring, Bone density, Colon Cancer Screening and Endoscopies.
