A 38-year-old man from Paola was grievously injured in an argument which ensued at 8.40 a .m. this morning.
The argument between him and an UK national started off in Paceville and continued in St Julians (next to Scotsman pub), eyewitnesses told this newsroom.
The Communications and Media Relations Unit within the Police Force said that the police are searching for the British man who fled the scene before the police arrived.
