Ten Nigerian migrants sent back to country of origin in past three months

In the past three months, the immigration sector within the police force took part in three joint operations for repatriation to Lagos, Nigeria. The operations were organized by Norwegian, Dutch and Italian authorities, coordinated by Frontex.

10 Nigerian migrants were repatriated, accompanied by the police.

The operations were made possible through the coordination of the Home Affairs and National Security Ministry and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, which managed travel documentation.

Such operations, substantially funded by EU Funds, are expected to continue.
