Nature Trust Malta has released two turtles, Anne and Roberto, after several months of rehabilitation at San Lucjan Tower, Marsaxlokk. 

Both these turtles required medication after being brought in with injuries due to interactions with discarded fishing gear. 

NTM thanked the public for bringing in these two turtles together with all its volunteers, veterinary surgeon Dr Anthony Gruppetta and St Simon's Clinic, the Malta Aquaculture Research Centre, San Lucjan and MEPA for their input in the rehabilitation of the turtles.
