Around 300 bikers held an impassioned ceremony this morning at the site where a young woman lost her life in collision with a truck.

The incident took place last Tuesday at Labour Avenue, Naxxar.

The bikers met at the Luxol Ground and slowly drove along the Coast Road to the site of the horrific incident.

Flowers were laid in memory of Johanna Boni who died upon impact last Tuesday. Ms Boni’s parents and close friends were also present for this morning’s impassioned commemoration.

Julian Calleja, chapter director of the Harley Owners Group said “Take care of us, we all have families and it is very sad when something like this happens. Please, take care of us.”

Members of the Harley Owners Group adorned their bikes with flowers to commemorate the life of Ms Boni.

Members of the Bicycling Advocacy Group were also at the event, promoting safer driving together with HOG.
