It seems that Emmy Bezzina's popularity knows no bounds as local comedian and musician Joe Demicoli has composed a song containing sound bites of Dr Bezzina's, shall we say, rather original insults towards prank callers.

Dr Bezzina has become something of a star in Malta of late, with his antics on the show il-Parlament tal-Poplu, where he has called people pea-brains and onions marinated in mouse droppings. In fact, Demicoli's song goes by the same title. Largely 1960's Rock'n'Roll, he pokes fun at Dr Bezzina as well as his viewers.

The programme is being investigated by the Broadcasting Authority and since then, Dr Bezzina has warned his viewers that if they don't behave themselves, there could be repercussions. Since the show started, Dr Bezzina has set up his own Facebook account to welcome his supporters, and has also seen quite a few internet memes and parodies uploaded.
