The man who was hit by a taxi at the Ferries in Sliema two days ago died in hospital last night, the police said.
The 26-year-old Libyan was hit by a taxi driven by a 61-year-old of Msida at 1.15am on Tuesday.
The man was taken to hospital where he was found to be in critical condition.
Magistrate Donatella Frendo Dimech is conducting an inquiry.
