The Nationalist Party said that Prime Minister Joseph Muscat would do well to look at money laundering practices in his own offices rather than lie about others.
In a statement after Muscat accused the PN of fraud and money laundering, the PN said that leader Simon Busuttil did not escape from emergency exits but instead faced the media more than once to reply to questions on donations and payments made by the Silvio Debono company to the PN and its media house. It was the PN that actually revealed these details because it has nothing to hide.
On the other hand, the public is still to know what donations were made to the Labour Party.
Muscat can never say that a donation stopped the PN from expressing itself on the transfer of the ITS land to a private company, the PN saud.
Simon Busuttil is not in anyone’s pocket, and this same cannot be said for Muscat, the PN said.
