An argument broke out in an entertainment establishment at 2am on Sunday in Munxar, Gozo, the police said.

Police officials went on site and preliminary investigations revealed that the argument involved a number of people. Three men who were in the establishment suffered injuries and were taken to hospital by ambulance. Two of the men, one Maltese and one foreign, were later certifies as having suffered grievous injuries while a third foreign man suffered slight injuries.

The latter is assisting the police in their investigations.
