An elderly couple was hospitalized after their car flipped over in Dingli.
The accident took place at around 13.50pm in Rabat Road, the police said.
The police said a 77-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman, both from Dingli, were in the car, a Mitsubishi Pajero. They lost control of their vehicle, which ended up on its side.
The pair was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Both suffered grievous injuries.
The police are investigating.
