PN Leader Simon Busuttil will be making himself available to Magistrate Aaron Bugeja to testify about the documents he says he has which show that OPM chief of staff Keith Schembri paid former Allied Group managing director Adrian Hillman €650,000, Dr Busuttil announced at a political activity in Nadur Gozo.

This is not the first time he has appeared before the magistrate. Dr Busuttil previously presented evidence relating to alleged kick backs to Keith Schembri by Nexia BT Owner Brian Tonna from the sale of cizitenship, a testiony that led to a second magisterial inquiry led by Magistrate Natasha Galea Sciberras.

He went on to say that a foreign journalist had told him that someone could write a novel or drama on the political situation in Malta.

"I told him this is not science fiction, but the reality we have been living in for the past four years."

The cheering crowd also heard a number of proposals outlined in the PN's personalised manifesto for Gozo, namely that the island would be granted island regional status within the constitution, and that the Gozo General Hospital will be returned to the public after being purchased by VGH.

The proposals address a variety of sectors; including health, identity, tourism and infrastructure. Dr Busuttil said that providing Gozo with a regional status by law, in the constitution

He closed  by telling the audience that it was clear that "Keith Schembri is the Prime Minister."

Shadow Minister for Energy, Transport, and the Environment Marthese Portelli, who spoke at the event, received a warm welcome from the audience as she said that Gozitans will be giving their reply to Joseph Muscat for mocking them by stealing their vote, on 3 June.

"The PN will always have Gozitans at heart. We created the Ministry for Gozo, we changed the face of the island. It is why today I am coming here not with four proposals, but with an entire electoral manifesto."

Dr Portelli pointed towards the proposal which will see Gozo be made into a constitutionally enshrined regional authority as an indication of this.

"The Prime Minister says it was four years of first, and I will agree with him. He was the first to take the Gozo Hospital away from Gozitans and gave to foreigners."

"Joseph Muscat chose Keith Schembri, he chose Panama. I choose workers, students, pensioners, Gozitans, and Maltese."

Shadow Minister for Gozo Chris Said was next and he opened with loud applause. Both Dr Said and Dr Portelli made reference to former Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono, who resigned from the Nationalist Party after her husband was accused of fraud but still commands respect from Gozitans.

Dr Said said that the PN's stamp was all over Gozo, yet the PL were yet to create one new project for the island.
