The two decisions taken by the Broadcasting Authority against the Public Broadcasting Services cannot be trusted to report the truth during the election campaign, Nationalist Party spokesman Clyde Puli said today.
The BA reprimanded PBS for not reporting a court case involving the Egrant whistleblower and also that a statement made by the Prime Minister was quoted in the name of the Opposition Leader.
Mr Puli expressed his disappointment at the PBS reaction. Instead of admitting its mistake, the PBS head of news tried to justify its shortcoming by saying that it lost only two of six complaints filed by the PN.
PBS should have been proud if it had won all issues, and not that it lost just two, Mr Puli said.
