James Rodriguez was among the goals in Augsburg as Bayern Munich came from behind to get the win that sealed their sixth successive league title - and 27th of the Bundesliga era - with five games to spare.
After Michael Gregoritsch shot wide and Philipp Max clipped the outside of the right-hand post, Augsburg capitalised on Jerome Boateng conceding possession on the edge of his own box to take the lead. Sven Ulreich looked to have spared his defender's blushes with a fine save in a one-on-one with Sergio Cordova, only for the loose ball to cannon into the net off Niklas Süle.

Bayern responded like true champions, however, with the unmarked Corentin Tolisso heading in from Joshua Kimmich to level. Kimmich was involved in Bayern's second five minutes later, nutmegging Max and crossing for Juan Bernat, whose cute backheel was driven home with authority by James.
Bayern's quick one-two knocked the stuffing out of Augsburg, and it was one-way traffic for the remainder of the contest. A third Bayern effort duly arrived, courtesy of a thunderous 14-yard finish from Arjen Robben - the Dutchman profiting from a clever James cut-back to bring up his 95th Bundesliga goal.
Robben threatened a fourth with a fierce free-kick, but the biggest cheer of the afternoon was reserved for Franck Ribery, making a late cameo on his 35th birthday. Sandro Wagner powered in a Sebastian Rudy corner to add the gloss to a clinical display typical of German football's undisputed No.1 ensemble.
