Levante are even closer to confirming their top-flight status, after Enis Bardhi scored two freekicks in three minutes to turn their match away at Athletic Club on its head.

The Basque side had been leading from the eighth minute after Raul Garcia thundered a long-range shot into the top corner, but then Bardhi scored one freekick after another in the 42nd and 44th minutes to leave Athletic scratching their heads at the break.

As much as the hosts searched for an equaliser in the second half, they couldn't find one and the closest they came was when a Raul Garcia header clipped the top of the crossbar in the 75th minute.

Levante's Jose Luis Morales then scored a third in the final minute on a counter attack to seal the three points and to place Levante nine points above Deportivo La Coruna with just four rounds to go.
