The Valletta Football Club has signed a deal with investors from Dubai.

The investors pledged to take the club all the way to the Champions League.

Club president Victor Sciriha said that they signed this agreement for the good of the club, and that this is the only way they can go forward, with strong investors behind them.

"We managed to close this deal. It wasn't easy," he said.

"With these people behind us, we will do big things."

The investors said they want to ensure the club is a prestigious one, and that it will play in the Champions League.
