The Children’s Dreams campaign has fulfilled about 1,800 individual dreams for disadvantaged children. 

The campaign, which has been going on for the past five years, is run by the Foundation for Social Welfare Services so that children in social difficulties can receive a gift of their choice for Christmas.

Falzon had explained at the launch that several children will experience a variety of things for the first time in their lives such as: choosing their clothes; eating in a restaurant; receiving a toy or having financial support in their education.

The minister explained that the 1,800 dreams came to a value of approximately €150,000.

It was also celebrated that the dreams were all pledged for less than a week after the Children’s Dreams campaign was launched.
