In a message on the occasion of his first 100 days in office as President of the Republic, George Vella speaks about his commitments both in Malta and abroad.

Since taking over the position of head of state on 4 April, Vella said he has met politicians, sportsmen, young people, NGOs and elderly people.

Praising the work being carried out by NGOs, the President insisted on the need for respect to the dignity of each and every one of us. He also thanked people involved in assisting others in need.

He also spoke about his future involvement with regard to plans for a constitutional reform, his commitments in international fora and his work in the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.
