The Parliamentary Secretariat for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation is teaming up with DELTA Summit for the Malta Awards for Digital Innovation. This is the first time such awards are being organised with the scope to give exposure and credit to all the hardworking companies and individuals in the tech sphere in Malta.
There are 8 awards up for grabs :-
- Award for Best Tech Startup
- Award for Creative Innovation
- Award for Scientific Innovation
- Award for Technological Innovation
- Award for Top Investor
- Award for Digital Disruptor
- Award for Best Service provider
- Award for Tech for a Better World
Parliamentary Secretary Silvio Schembri encourages the public to have his say and nominate anyone who thinks deserves the award. “The awards will shed spotlight on the ongoing tech activity in Malta, the innovative projects, and the solutions created which will give back to the community but most of all the awards will boost the creative thinking and tech talent which is part and parcel of the growth of the digital economy of our islands”.
A judging panel will identify the winners. In the case of the Best Tech Startup, a specific judging panel will be set up to rank all applications and determine the 3 finalists and award winner. All 3 finalists will be invited to the MCA eBusiness Awards Event.
The awards will take place during DELTA Summit x OKEx Malta Tech Week.
