UM academic elected to serve on Global Academic Leaders Forum Advisory Committee

During the 79th International Pharmaceutical Federation World Congress, held recently in Abu Dhabi, Professor Lilian M. Azzopardi, head of Department of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Malta, was elected to represent the European region on the FIP Global Academic Leaders Forum Advisory Committee. 

Professor Azzopardi obtained the highest number of votes among the European candidates and secured a six-year term to serve on the committee. International schools of pharmacy affiliated within FIP voted at the election.

The Global Academic Leaders Forum is a global network, interconnecting schools of pharmacy and academic pharmacy leaders around the world, to share knowledge on pharmacy education and research and leadership.
