PL MPs were reluctant to say whether OPM Chief of Staff Keith Schembri and Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi should resign in light of the latest events, revolving around the arrest of 17 Black owner Yorgen Fenech.

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, entering Parliament, was asked whether Keith Schembri will be entering the office tomorrow said that "we should let the whole process take its due course," reiterating what he told journalists this morning.  He said that the updates over the past few hours are proof that the institutions in the country do work.

PL MPs were asked whether they believe Keith Schembri and Konrad Mizzi should resign.

Parliamentary Secretary for Consumer Rights Deo Debattista said that the Prime Minister already answered the question, and said that his opinion is that of the Prime Minister's.

Parliamentary Secretary for the Digital Economy Silvio Schembri said that he believes that this country had a confirmation that the institutions work, "unlike what some others were trying to indicate. The fact that we have institutions that work, and a Prime Minister who always, as history has shown, took decisions where needed in the interest of the people, I continue to be confident that we are completely behind the PM so that, like before, he continues to show that he knows how to take decisions."

Parliamentary Secretary for Reforms Julia Farrugia Portelli did not answer the question, and instead said that she believes that "we need to let all the institutions work serenely seeing the sensitivity of the case, that requires the investigators to do their job." She said that she has full trust in the institutions.

Parliamentary Secretary for EU Funds Aaron Farrugia said that "we should let the institutions to continue working, as we have."

Infrastructure Minister Ian Borg, Planning Parliamentary Secretary Chris Agius, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Clifton Grima, Parliamentary Secretary for Persons with Disability Anthony Agius Decelis, PL MP Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi ignored the press and walked into Parliament.
