‘Majority wants whoever is found guilty to get what they deserve, whoever they are’ – Aaron Farrugia

Sunday, 24 November 2019, 14:18 Last update: about 5 years ago

The majority want justice to be served today before tomorrow, and for whoever is involved and found guilty to get what they deserve, whoever they may be, Parliamentary Secretary for EU Funds Aaron Farrugia has said on Facebook.

Farrugia was referring to the ongoing investigation into the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.

He said that MPs from both sides of the House Representatives went into politics with one aim, to make Malta better.

"Save for some who are looking at partisan political interests and a way to weaken the Labour Party and for the PN to take the leadership of the country in their hands, the absolute majority have the same aim, for justice to be served today before tomorrow, and for whoever is involved and found guilty to get what they deserve, whoever they may be."

The hours, days and weeks coming need MPs who look at the national interest, and no other kind of interest.

"I, like many others, and convinced and will work to see that justice is done, to put this crime behind us, for our country's name to be cleaned, for this movement that we created to continue with what it was created to do, to make our country the best version of itself for the coming years."
