Minister Konrad Mizzi said he will be giving his comments on the ongoing developments later.

Mizzi was approached by journalists as he walked into the law courts building for a sitting regarding the case instituted by the Opposition Leader Adrian Delia on the VGH deal.

Asked whether he will resign as OPM chief of staff Keith Schembri did this morning, Mizzi said he is concentrating on the court session and will comment later.

After the court sitting, Mizzi said he was returning to the Cabinet meeting and will be speaking to journalists after it finishes.

Reports that an arrest warrant was issued against Mizzi are incorrect.

Lawyer Jason Azzopardi asked the judge to issue the warrant when the case was called and Mizzi was not there. But Mizzi entered the courtroom at that moment.
