Coronavirus: People entering Mater Dei Hospital being screened

Patients and visitors at Mater Dei Hospital are being scanned as of this morning.

The government announced a series of measures after the first Coronavirus cases were registered in Malta over the weekend.

Visiting hours have been revised as follows: Monday to Sunday - 1130 to 1200 (strictly 1 visitor per visit), 1700 to 1800 (strictly 1 visitor per visit).

All visitors are being screened before entering the hospital. A green band (photo) is affixed to the wrist to show that the person has been screened.
