Fifth case: Teenager tests positive to Coronavirus

The daughter of the man who tested positive for Coronavirus on Monday has also tested positive bringing the total of cases in Malta to five.

She is a 16-year-old and is in good condition, the government said in a statement. Her father, aged 49, tested positive on Monday.

This family was in Trentino Alto Adige between 23 and 27 February, and returned via Treviso.

On her return, the girl did not attend school, the government said.

the father's partner tested negative. The family of three are being kept in isolation at Mater Dei Hospital.

Last week, a 12-year-old girl and her parents were the first to test positive.

The Prime Minister is expected to address the media shortly.
