A Coronavirus patient who had gone missing from Boffa hospital has been returned to the facility after he was found in Hal Far, the police said.
On Monday, health chief Charmaine Gauci confirmed that a patient had escaped from Boffa hospital. The police said they were searching for the man and, once caught, he would be placed in isolation.
In a statement on Monday evening, the police said the man had been receiving treatment at the Red Cross clinic in Hal Far and entered the open centre before it was locked down on Sunday evening.
The police said the man had not come into contact with anyone outside the centre.
