A man was arrested in Gozo as police seize drugs which they found in his vehicle, the police said.

The man, aged 34 of Gharb, on Friday was seen leaving his residence and driving to Qala, where he went into another house. He later drove to Victoria.

The police surrounded the vehicle in Pjazza tat-Tokk at around 11.30am, and found a bag containing an amount of cocaine.

The police also carried out searches ay the man’s residence in Gharb and the Qala house he had visited, where they found cocaine and heroin.

The man was arrested and Magistrate Simone Grech is leading an inquiry.
