A pillion rider who was seriously injured last Sunday in a Zebbug crash has died in hospital, the police said.

The 32-year-old woman, from Mtarfa, was riding on a bike which was involved in an accident in Mdina Road.

Magistrate Martin Farrugia is leading an inquiry.

The crash involved a Harley Davidson bike and a Toyota Porte driven by a 49-year-old man of Zabbar.

The biker, a 40-year-old of Rabat, was slighlty hurt in the accident.
