A 31-year-old motorcyclist was grievously injured in a collision that took place in Paola on Tuesday.
The man, from Fgura, was riding a Yamaha bike that had an impact with a Peugeot driven by a 21-year-old woman from Paola.
The accident took place in Triq Kristu Re, the police said.
The motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. The police are investigating.
Later in the day, a Filipino man lost his life in a crash between a motorcycle and a Land Rover, also in Paola.
