Four people were arrested after the police raided an apartment located in Gzira in connection with drug trafficking.
The police said that after days of surveillance, the Anti-Drug Police Squad carried out another successful operation on Saturday.
At around 9:30 pm on Saturday, Police from the Anti-Drug Police Squad, together with the Rapid Intervention Unit, entered an apartment and arrested two men and two women between the ages of 30 and 55.
After the arrest, a search was carried out in the apartment where suspicious substances were found, allegedly cocaine, heroin and cannabis, as well as a considerable amount of cash.
A magisterial inquiry is underway, led by Dr Doreen Clarke and police investigations are still ongoing.
