Middleman in the Daphne Caruana Galizia assassination Melvin Theuma remains in stable condition and is being kept in the Mater Dei Hospital ENT ward, the police said.

His condition is unchanged since the last update yesterday evening. He has been in stable condition for a number of days, and was moved out of Mater Dei's Intensive Therapy Unit earlier this week.

Theuma was found in a pool of blood in his Swieqi home on Tuesday 21 July, after allegedly trying to kill himself. He was operated on that night, and sustained serious wounds to his neck, chest, and left wrist.
