Thirty-seven new Coronavirus cases were registered on Sunday, with 63 patients recovering, the health authorities said.
The number of active cases thereby dropped to 372, while the total number of cases registered is 2,072.
The first Coronavirus case in Malta was recorded on 7 March, exactly six months ago. Fourteen people have died of the virus, while 1,690 have recovered.
The number of swab tests carried out on Sunday was 1,640, for a total of 203,777 tests.
The cases reported today are still being investigated.
From the 25 cases reported on Sunday, the health authorities said two were family members of previously known cases, another two were office colleagues, another two contracted the virus from social gatherings, two cases were traced to a body-building event and three cases were direct contacts of other known cases.
The health authorities did not give details of the other 14 cases registered on Sunday.
