Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri said that through this scheme, which will be open throughout October, families will be given four visits to the Ministry’s veterinary services for free, and also a €50 voucher during the third visit which can be redeemed in food, medicine, or any other needs for the animal which is adopted.

Camilleri emphasised that adopting an animal is a life-long obligation, and that any animal adopted should be considered as a member of the family.
