Kunsill Studenti Universitarji (KSU) has launched a new three-year partnership with PwC Malta - a leading audit, tax and advisory services firm in Malta and an established global brand whose values and ideals align with KSU’s mission to empower and develop students.
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to evolve, there has never been a more pressing need for an organisation like PwC, whose purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems, to make a positive impact to the students' experience, by collaborating with KSU in its role as the sole student union on campus in supporting its members.
Through this partnership, PwC Malta will be supporting KSU in various initiatives aimed at assisting students throughout their University journey and particularly during this challenging time. Among other initiatives, this will include the addition of a central study space at UM with the eventual launch of the KSU – PwC Malta Common Room.
PwC Malta will also be KSU’s main partner in the upcoming KSU - PwC Malta Careers Expo in March 2021, a unique opportunity for thousands of students to identify careers and to kickstart their professional journey. In this regard, Lisa Pullicino, Human Capital partner at PwC added, ‘Over the past years, PwC has continued to evolve into a multidisciplinary firm. We are excited to offer a vast range of opportunities to students ranging from accountancy to technology. We strongly believe that the student community represents the tomorrow’s leaders and we are committed to support in making their aspirations and professional goals a reality’.
Through their strengthened relationship, both KSU and PwC Malta are committed to continue investing in students through their regular presence on campus and by listening to the students’ voices and opinions.
KSU also noted that through this collaboration, PwC Malta is making clear its commitment to the future generations, made of thousands of young students currently studying at the University of Malta. Through its support to KSU and its 13,000 members, PwC Malta aims to support students’ transition into being a key part of Malta’s workforce of the future where new skills and new ways of working are a reality.
